The deadline to apply for USDA Farm Service Agency's General Conservation Reserve Program is rapidly approaching. Applications must be submitted by April 17! CRP is a voluntary program that encourages agricultural producers and landowners to convert highly erodible and other environmentally sensitive acreage to vegetative cover, such as native grasses, trees, and riparian buffers. In return, participants receive annual rental payments.

Attention: farmers, ranchers, and landowners from Franklin, Warren, Vance, and surrounding counties, please join us for our upcoming Resource Outreach Meetings. This meeting will provide an opportunity to learn about the various programs and services offered through the USDA and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). There will also be an Attorney available to address heirs' property and estate planning services. Our goal is to share valuable information and resources that support local producers, landowners, and community organizations in strengthening agricultural and conservation efforts. We hope you will be able to join us and take advantage of this informative session.

The Farmer Bridge Assistance Program seeks to address market disruptions, elevated input costs, and more. Specialty crop producers have until March 13th to apply!
