In October 2024, the CDC took a closer look at v**e use among middle and high schoolers. In the U.S., ā€œyouth use e-cigarettes, or v**es, more than any other to***co product.ā€

At the time of the CDC survey, ā€œ1.63 million (5.9%) students currently used e-cigarettes.ā€ Peer pressure makes it feel like everybody is participating, but that isnā€™t the case.
