Did you know a single cow can produce over 60 pounds of manure per day? When not managed properly, that manure can carry nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus into local waterways. DRIP's Farm Foward Workgroup works with farmers to implement sustainable practices like proper manure storage and other conservation techniques. This is just one of many ways the Farm Forward Workgroup supports clean water and thriving farms!
