Let’s go birding with our friends at Brandywine Creek State Park! interpretive Manager Gab will lead us on a light hike with a great mix of education and practice spotting local birds! BCSP has extra binoculars, but feel free to bring your own. The park charges a flat free per person for this event, part of which Q***r Scouts is covering. Registration link in bio!

Perfect day on the water! Had a great time tubing down the Brandywine. We got to float, swim, spot a Heron - and some Scouts even got in a light hike to start the morning! Thank you to Eric Hastings for leading such a fun program! 🏕️🛟

Lots of logistics for our tubing outing on Saturday! Scouts, check your email for more details, but here’s the quick version:
🏕️ Meet at Thompson’s Bridge NO LATER than 9am if you’d like to join Eric on a 1.5 mile hike before tubing
🏕️ Meet at Smith’s Bridge NO LATER than 10am if you’d like to get right in the water
🏕️ If the lot is full or you miss the 9am hike cut off, head to the overflow lot on Ramsey Rd. It’s a quick 0.5 hike to Smith’s Bridge
🏕️ It’s going to be a hot one! Remember water, sunscreen, your bathing suit, AND YOUR TUBE! If you need to borrow a tube, LET US KNOW ASAP!

Prepare, prepare, prepare! Had an awesome time learning Wilderness First Aid basics with Heather! Scouts got to practice splints and tourniquets, and got a mini first aid kit to add to their hiking bag essentials.
