Our work continues because of the community and partners that support it. Thank you to Healthy Communities Delaware for being one of those partners and for your continued investment in NECDC.

Support like this strengthens our efforts in the revitalization of the commercial corridor and our community. That work is rooted in the people and businesses that call Northeast Wilmington home.

Coordinated support and community partnerships keep the momentum of building a better future going.

Have you heard about NoMa? The North Market Library Hub is Wilmington's newest community space, and it's right here in our neighborhood.

Dubard, our CEO, recently toured the space and saw firsthand what NoMa has to offer. Literacy and learning support, technology access, career and entrepreneurship resources, wellness programs, and space for community connection. It's part library, part incubator, and part gathering place.

NoMa is in the middle of soft openings now through August 22, with a grand opening celebration on August 29.

📍 3905 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE

Everyone is welcome, so stop by and see it for yourself!

Last Wednesday, over 40 people from banks, corporations, philanthropic organizations, government (local, city, and state), developers, small businesses, and community members joined NECDC for a tour of North Market Street. Mayor Carney also joined us for the tour.

Our goal? To share our vision for the future of Northeast Wilmington by making stops at exciting projects in development and highlighting small businesses already calling our community home.

We're committed to a Northeast Wilmington where businesses grow together through coordinated support, investment, and opportunity. That vision is already taking shape, and we're proud to be building it alongside so many dedicated partners.

Stay tuned as we share more about the momentum underway.

What a difference a few repairs can make! With the help of a beautification grant available to Northeast Wilmington residents, the steps leading to this home's entrance got concrete repairs, a little bit of cleanup, and a brand new wooden railing, making it safer and more secure.
