Happy Mother’s Day to the women who lead with strength, love, sacrifice, and courage every single day. 💜

Today, HerShield Foundation celebrates the mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, guardians, mentors, and mother figures who inspire the next generation of girls to dream bigger, stand taller, and lead boldly.

Many of the young girls we serve first learn confidence, compassion, resilience, and service from the women raising them. Whether you wear a uniform, serve your family quietly behind the scenes, or support your community in countless unseen ways — your impact matters.

To the mothers serving as police officers, dispatchers, correctional officers, firefighters, EMTs, military members, nurses, teachers, and community leaders: thank you for showing girls what strength and leadership look like.

And to every mom encouraging her daughter to believe in herself — you are helping shape the future.

This week, we recognize the men and women who serve behind the walls with strength, professionalism, and resilience during National Correctional Officers Week.

Correctional officers are often the unseen backbone of public safety. They work in high-stress environments, maintain order, build structure, and help create opportunities for rehabilitation — all while facing challenges most people never see.

Their work requires patience, leadership, awareness, and courage every single day.

To every correctional officer working long shifts, managing difficult situations, and continuing to show up for your communities and facilities: thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Your commitment matters. Your work matters. And this week, we honor you. 💙🖤

This week, we honor the unseen heroes behind every emergency response — our Public Safety Telecommunicators.

They are the calm in chaos.
The steady voice when someone is experiencing their worst moment.
The first first responders.

Every call they answer has the potential to save a life. Every decision they make matters. And yet, their work often goes unrecognized.

At HerShield Foundation, we believe it’s important that young girls understand every role in public safety — not just the ones they see, but the ones they hear.

Because leadership, courage, and service don’t always wear a uniform… sometimes, they wear a headset.
