🍿💙 Thank You!

Our 2026 Pop for a Purpose fundraiser has officially come to a close, and we're incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make it possible.

Together, we raised $325.50 through fundraiser proceeds and donations to help support the resources, education, and community connection opportunities that serve individuals and families affected by Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

This year's fundraiser generated $551 in popcorn sales and was supported by three dedicated sellers, generous donors, and community members who shared the fundraiser with others.

Every purchase, donation, share, comment, and word of encouragement helped make a difference.

The funds raised will help sustain:

📄 Free downloadable tools and brochures
🎥 Virtual support groups
💙 Community connection opportunities

📰 FND Awareness Makes Local News in Wilmington, NC

We're excited to see Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) receiving local media attention through a powerful two-part story shared by WECT News.

Over the past few months, WECT has followed Amelia's journey with FND—from navigating sudden episodes of paralysis and the uncertainty that comes with a misunderstood neurological condition (FND), to completing specialized treatment and returning home with new tools to manage her symptoms.

Stories like Amelia's help shine a light on a condition that is often misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or overlooked. By sharing real experiences, we can increase awareness, foster understanding, and help others living with FND feel less alone.

We are grateful to Amelia and her family for courageously sharing their story, and to WECT for helping educate our community about the realities of living with FND.

Every story shared helps build awareness, understanding, and hope for the FND community.
