Jack and Jill of America - Wilmington, NC Chapter The Wilmington, NC chapter is in the Mid-Atlantic region of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. It was established in 1954. Jack & Jill of America, Inc.

was founded January 24, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from a meeting of 20 mothers by the leadership of Marion Stubbs Thomas with the idea of bringing together children in a social and cultural environment. In 1964, as more groups became active, bylaws were drawn up and incorporated under the laws of Delaware. The organization was a nonprofit family organization by mothers of children between

the ages of 2 and 19 holding membership. Jack & Jill celebrated its 50th Golden Anniversary in January 1988. The organization continues on, dedicating its resources to improving the quality of life, particularly African-American children. Today, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has a membership base of over 9,500 families and it is the oldest and largest African American family organization in the United States. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is committed to ensuring that all children have the same opportunities in life.

Our Jack and Jill family has been hard at work, from our recent landscaping community service project to hitting the beach today for a clean-up effort. From planting to picking up, every hand is making a difference and helping keep our spaces beautiful and thriving.

🎲 Wee Wisdom & Elementary Game Night! 🎲

Our Wee Wisdom and Elementary Jacks and Jills had an amazing time at Game Night playing Monopoly and enjoying an evening of fun, learning, and friendly competition! ♟️🎉

From practicing strategy to building friendships, the evening was filled with laughter and great energy. Events like these help our young members grow, connect, and develop important life skills while having a great time together.

Join us in celebrating Kaleb Stubbs, one of our outstanding teens from the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Wilmington Chapter, for an incredible achievement on the track!

Kaleb has earned the title of All-American Champion, taking 1st place in both the 3000m and 1500m races! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 His dedication, discipline, and determination continue to inspire us all.

❤️ Serving with Heart!

The teens of the Wilmington Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. spent time giving back to the community by partnering with Meals on Wheels America to deliver meals and smiles to local seniors.

Through this meaningful service opportunity, our teens experienced firsthand the importance of compassion, connection, and supporting members of our community who may need a helping hand. Each delivery was more than just a meal — it was a moment of kindness, conversation, and care.

We are so proud of our teens for continuing to lead with purpose and embody the spirit of service that defines Jack and Jill. 🌟
