The Leland VFW Post 12196 and Auxiliary will host a Korean War Era Veterans Breakfast on Wednesday, July 29th, at 9am. Korean War-era veterans, their families, and local area veterans, are welcome to attend to commemorate the service of these heroes.

The American Legion Post #10 golf tournament has been postponed to August 29th due to weather.

The golf tournament after careful consideration is postponed to August 29th due to weather. Sorry for the short notice on this as I know everyone was looking forward to it. They are also still in need for volunteers for this event as well! Still no General Meeting this Saturday to keep everyone safe.

Mayor Bill Saffo and the City of Wilmington, NC Government will recognize Major James Capers Jr, Medal of Honor recipient, at the Wilmington City Council meeting, Tuesday, July 21st at 6:30pm.
