With 4 days left in the campaign we thought it would be great to take time and introduce ourselves as your 2025 until-a-cure candidates!

Hi! My name is Anna Weiner and I am ½ of the “Until-A-Cure” leaders! I am a 16-year-old Junior at Wilmington Friends School! Some of my hobbies include baking, listening to music, and going on drives with my friends. I became involved with LLS my sophomore year when I was asked to be a part of team Until-A-Cure and I have been involved ever since. This year I have been focused on doing research for LLS and other cancers that take so many lives. I am very honored that I was able to be one of the few people in the state of Delaware to be able to take part in this amazing campaign and be able to make a difference in my community and raise money for a cause that takes so many lives. As we are in our last week of fundraising I want to thank our amazing team members who have worked so hard to raise money and help our team reach our goal! And all the wonderful people who have donated and helped this wonderful cause!

Hi, my name is Ella Fontanazza and I am the other half of the LLS “Until a Cure” leaders! I also attend Wilmington Friends School, where I am a member of the field hockey and lacrosse team, as well as participate in multiple clubs in school. When I’m not in school, I love to bake, read, and take beach trips with my friends. I am apart of LLS to give back to my community. My circle of family and friends are so supportive of me, and I want to raise money for research, so that the family members that are diagnosed with blood cancer will hopefully have a cure one day! As we approach the final few days of the fundraiser, I want to reflect on all that I have learned these past seven weeks. Not only learning how to fundraise, but more importantly, creating deeper connections within my community and spreading LLS’s amazing mission of curing cancer for good.
