NOW, THE REAL WORK BEGINS. 🎓

Year 10 was incredible, and we can’t thank everyone enough for celebrating with us. Now it’s time to do what HBCU Week is all about — helping students get to college.

Our scholarships are officially OPEN! We encourage every HBCU-bound high school senior to apply.

And this year, the opportunities go even further. Our HBCU Week Sports Scholarship is open to eligible undergraduate students, and our new Treasurer’s Fellow Graduate Scholarship creates an opportunity for undergrad/graduate students.

YOUR future is worth the investment. APPLY!

YEAR 10 WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU. 🫶🏽

As we close out an incredible HBCU Week Year 10, we simply want to say THANK YOU to every sponsor and partner who invested in our mission and, most importantly, our students.

Your support went far beyond financial contributions. From resources, volunteers, and partnerships to showing up when we needed you, you helped make this week possible.

A special thank you to The Sallie Mae Fund, presenting sponsor of the HBCU Week College Fair, and to every organization that stood alongside us for Year 10.

Thank you for believing in the mission. Thank you for believing in our students.

The week may be over, but the work continues.

WHAT A WAY TO CLOSE IT OUT! 🥁🔥

The HBCU Week Battle of the Bands was one to remember! We danced, we sang, we jammed out, and these bands left it ALL on the field.

A huge thank you to every band that showed up and showed OUT:

Lincoln University
Virginia State University
Hampton University
Delaware State University

Thank you to everyone who came out and brought the energy with us.

We can’t wait to see what’s NEXT for the HBCU Week Battle of the Bands!

WHAT A DAY! ❤️🎓

Yesterday’s HBCU Week College Fair was about one thing: creating opportunities for our students.

Students connected with HBCUs, alumni, scholars, city and state agencies, and organizations offering resources to help them take that next step toward college.

And we had Stephen A. Smith in the building, broadcasting his show live, talking about the students, and bringing even more energy to an already incredible day.

To every student, parent, school, college, partner, volunteer, and supporter who showed up — THANK YOU.

YEAR 10 continues to remind us why we do this.

Here’s a look back at an incredible College Fair!

WE’RE HERE. ❤️

After all the planning, all the work, all the late nights — today is the HBCU Week College Fair.

And today really isn’t about us. It’s about the students.

We’re grateful for every college, partner, volunteer, school, parent, and person who helped us get to this moment. But most of all, we’re excited for the thousands of young people walking through those doors today with their futures in front of them.

Some will leave with an acceptance. Some with a scholarship. Some may simply leave knowing exactly where they belong.

YEAR 10. COLLEGE FAIR DAY. LET’S CHANGE SOME LIVES.

As a PROUD HBCU WEEK Ambassador, I couldn’t be more excited about the College Fair!

This is bigger than a college fair, it’s about opportunity, access, and the next generation! I am committed to shining light on HBCUs and doing my part to help them WIN!
