I’m learning to face old wounds. When I was a child, I lost my cat, Patches, and every day I called for him. Now, sharing this pain is freeing and helping me heal. If you’re struggling, you’re not alone.

Real strength isn’t about dominating — it’s about growing. Toxic masculinity teaches young men to fight their way out. Effective masculinity teaches them to feel their way through. The difference changes everything.

These boys walked in with their guards up.
They left holding their own story.

Nobody told them their pain had a name.

Nobody told them what they were carrying wasn’t weakness — it was weight.

That’s what the G.O.A.T. Program does.

We don’t just teach leadership.

We give young men the language to understand themselves.

When a 6th grader holds a book that reflects his life back at him —something shifts.

That shift is what schools are paying for.

That shift is what parents are praying for.

If your school has young men who are struggling to show up, speak up, or hold it together — this program was built for them.

Bro to Bro: Share something that changed how you see life.

I’ll go first.

I spent years believing that being strong meant being silent.

That a real man carries everything alone.

That if you show what you’re feeling, you lose.
That belief almost cost me everything.

What changed it?

A conversation I wasn’t ready for.

A mentor sat me down and said five words that broke something open in me:

“You don’t have to perform.

I didn’t even know I was performing.

I thought I was surviving.

But I was exhausting myself pretending I had it all figured out when the truth was I was a kid from Norris Street who never had permission to just… be honest about what hurt.

The moment I stopped performing and started being real with myself first, then with other people everything shifted.

My relationships got deeper.

My purpose got clearer.

The anger I carried for years started to lose its grip.

That’s what I teach young men now. Not to be tough. Not to fake it. To be authentic.

Because the strongest thing a man can do is tell the truth about what he’s carrying.

Your turn. Drop something in the comments that changed how you see life.

A moment, a conversation, a lesson. Let’s build here.
