Matthew Smith is an avid cyclist who was diagnosed in early 2025. He wanted to give to the Parkinsons community and help bring awareness and donations to support finding disease altering therapies. He was looking for ways to use cycling to accomplish this goal when he found the Pedal to Phoenix team. Matthew quickly established himself as one of the leaders of the team, as well as using his experience to contribute to route planning.
