Rodgers Family housefire & Rebuild

Rodgers Family housefire & Rebuild An unexpected tragedy has struck members of the Rodgers family. Their home in Willis, Texas caught fire on 08/04/2020 early in the morning while they slept.

They were so excited to embark on a new life when they moved into this home in the first part of July this year. The house was a handy man special and was currently under construction to make the needed repairs so they could get homeowners insurance on it, currently, there is not any insurance on the home. This event was broadcast on Local 2 Houston News as well as Montgomery County Reporters webs

ite. Ai'mee suffered lacerations from getting her children out through a window. She was treated and they are all doing okay. Thier eight-teen year old cousin, Mary, was trapped and unfortunately passed away a few days later from her injuries. Firefighters also fought hard to revive their beloved therapy dog, Daisy, but were unsuccessful. The family has been able to grab a couple items out of the front Master bedroom, which is the only room in the house that was not totally destroyed. Everything in the home was damaged and burned, A complete loss for this family, We are so thankful for the community response we have already began to see over the last few weeks. We have great hope that with our communities help, we can pull together and help rebuild this young mothers home so that she and her children can safely return to a house they can call home. We are Truly Grateful for any time offered, Hands on help, Construction, materials, Donations, Support, Love and Sharing that is involved on your part, We need our community of Texans more than ever. Please contact us via email at [email protected], if you have resources you can offer to help this family rebuild their life from the ground up.
