✨ Exciting News from Refuge Resale! ✨

We are officially preparing to open our doors in downtown Galax, and we need your help! As we prepare to open we are seeking donations of clothing racks, shelving, hangers, shopping baskets, display tables, and security cameras. If your business is remodeling or closing, we'd love to give your fixtures a second life while supporting our community mission.

Refuge Resale, a ministry of Warrior's Refuge & Restoration, will begin accepting donations of:

👕 Clothing (all sizes and seasons)
👟 Shoes
👜 Purses and accessories
🧸 Toys
📚 Books
🍽️ Household items
🛋️ Small furniture and home décor
🛏️ Blankets, linens, and towels

Here's how your donations will make a difference:

Some donated items will be provided through our free clothing closet for individuals and families experiencing hardship.

Other donated items will be sold in our thrift store, with proceeds directly supporting:

A community food pantry
The clothing closet
Assistance for individuals and families in need
Educational classes and support services offered through Warrior's Refuge & Restoration

Every donation and every purchase helps us meet practical needs and create a place of hope and restoration in our community.

If you have items to donate, stop by during those dates or send us a message for more information or drop off details.

🎨 We are also looking for volunteers to help us paint, organize, clean, set up displays, and give the space a fresh new look before opening day. Whether you can give an hour or a full day, we'd love your help!

🛍️ Are you a local maker, artisan, or small business owner? We are exploring opportunities for vendor booths within our space and would love to hear from you if you're interested.

Today is a BIG day for Warrior’s Refuge & Restoration!

We are so excited to spend the day cleaning out our Main Street space and preparing it for all that God has in store. As we work, organize, and clear out the old, we will also be taking time to pray over and anoint the building, dedicating it to the Lord and the mission He has placed before us.

This space will be more than just a building—it will be a place of hope, restoration, community, and ministry.

We believe God is doing something special, and we’re honored to be part of it. Please join us in praying for wisdom, provision, and God’s continued blessing over Warrior’s Refuge & Restoration.

Our first distribution trip!! God is good!

God has been moving in ways I never could have planned… and I wanted to share a little update with you all.

Warrior’s Refuge & Restoration is stepping into a new and amazing season!

We are working to officially secure a building in Galax, VA where we will be launching Refuge Resale—a community thrift store that will not only help support the ministry, but also serve as a place of connection, support, and outreach.

On top of that, we have been approved to receive supplies from God’s Pit Crew twice monthly 🙌 These items will be given out to our community through designated distribution days to help meet real, practical needs.

And we are just getting started…

We are also preparing to launch Medical Community Days through Indian Valley Wellness Center to provide access to care and support for those who need it most.

This vision has always been about more than one thing—it’s about creating a place where people can find help, hope, and healing in multiple ways.

We would love your prayers as we step into this, and if you feel led to support, we will be sharing ways to donate items to help us get the store up and running.
