✨ This year, I’m watching a vision unfold that God planned long before I ever understood it. ✨
What started as a simple idea… became a book.
The book became a workbook.
The workbook became a program.
And the program is becoming a movement. 💜💛
Lost & Found: Journey to Self-Discovery was never just about a book, a suitcase, or a catchy name. It was about creating a space where people could unpack the things they’ve carried for far too long, confront the beliefs that told them they weren’t enough, and discover the person they were always meant to become.
Looking back, I realize I wasn’t creating the vision—I was simply walking into one that God had already written.
And this year, I’m seeing pieces of that vision come together in ways I could not have imagined.
📖 The books.
📝 The workbook.
💭 The self-esteem program.
🎥 The stories.
🎤 The conversations.
👥 The community.
✨ And now… the next chapter.
I believe Lost & Found will change lives.
It will promote healing.
It will challenge old schemas and limiting beliefs.
It will remind people that their past does not have to dictate their future.
And most importantly, it will help people find the courage to love themselves again.
Because sometimes being “lost” isn’t the end of the story.
Sometimes, it’s the beginning of being found. 🧳✨
I’m grateful to God for trusting me with the vision—and even more grateful that I get to watch Him bring it to life.
This isn’t just my dream.
It’s a vision that was written long before I knew how to read it.
And we’re only getting started. 💜💛

Meet Paisley 👋

Paisley represents the Punitiveness Schema, where mistakes can feel like something that deserves punishment instead of understanding, correction, or grace.

This schema may sound like:

"You should have known better."
"There’s no excuse for that mistake."
"If I mess up, I deserve to be hard on myself."

People carrying this schema can be extremely critical of themselves and others, especially when expectations are not met. Forgiveness can feel difficult because the inner judge is always keeping score.

Healing can look like learning the difference between accountability and punishment, practicing compassion, and remembering that mistakes do not erase your worth.

💜 Growth does not require cruelty.

Stay tuned as we continue meeting the schemas and unpacking the beliefs that may be shaping how we treat ourselves and others.

Ready for the full demonstration? 👀

In this Summer of Schemas episode, we’re bringing Mistrust and Pessimism to life through a fun game of Human Pac-Man, then unpacking the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences connected to each schema.

You’ll see how closely these two schemas can overlap.

Mistrust may sound like:
"I need to know if I can trust you."
"I should protect myself before I get hurt."

Pessimism may sound like:
"I should prepare for the worst."
"It’s better not to hope than be disappointed."

The full demonstration also explores how schemas can develop, how they show up in everyday situations, and how coping behaviors like avoidance, overcompensation, and staying guarded can keep them going.

💜 Watch the full demonstration and see if you can tell which schema is showing up before the answer is revealed.

Stay tuned for more Summer of Schemas with Lost & Found with P-Care.

Trust can be difficult when past experiences taught you to stay guarded.

The Mistrust/Abuse Schema can create an expectation that people will eventually hurt, manipulate, use, or take advantage of you.

It may show up as constantly questioning someone’s intentions, testing people to see if they can be trusted, keeping others at a distance, or believing that everyone has a motive.

But mistrust can affect relationships in different ways. Some people become extremely guarded, while others may repeatedly find themselves accepting mistreatment or connecting with people who reinforce what they already believe about trust.

Healing can look like learning to recognize genuine relationships, setting healthy boundaries, speaking up for yourself, and surrounding yourself with people who pour into you. 💜

You can protect yourself without closing yourself off from every opportunity to experience safe and healthy connection.

Stay tuned for more from Lost & Found with P-Care as we continue unpacking our schemas.

When you’ve been hurt before, protecting yourself can start to feel like the safest option.

The Mistrust/Abuse Schema can make you expect harm even when no one has shown you that harm is coming.

It may look like keeping your guard up, questioning people’s intentions, sharing very little about yourself, or feeling like you need to protect yourself before someone gets the chance to hurt you.

Sometimes mistrust is rooted in what happened directly to us. Other times, it can grow from what we witnessed, heard, or experienced around us.

The challenge is learning when your instincts are protecting you and when old experiences are speaking louder than the present.

💜 Healing can begin with safe relationships, healthy boundaries, and slowly learning that trust does not have to mean ignoring warning signs.

Stay tuned as we continue unpacking the emotional luggage we carry through Summer of Schemas.
