The Marge Clark Education Fund awarded $8,426.23 in grant projects for this year's grantmaking.
Teachers or staff members at the schools could write a proposal for a project they were going to do with students either this summer or after school first semester of next school year. All seven projects that were submitted were funded. Ms. Martin will lead an after school craft class, and Mrs. Rickey will lead a self-esteem after school program as well as an after school STEM program. Ms. Nowak will lead a cooking and baking class after school, Mrs. Reynolds will lead a crochet class after school. Mrs. Crumbaugh will get an Ultimate Kit from the STEM company infento.com to use in the Young Explorers Program. The largest grant was given to Act Two Summer Youth Theater. These students will be performing Junie B Jones Jr. The Musical from July 9th-11th. Please go and support these students who are in grades 5-8!
The Marge Clark Education Fund, a field of interest fund with the Foundation, was created in memory of Marge Clark, well-known author, farm wife, mother of four, and resident of Warren County. Marge was a very generous and giving individual, and her giving spirit continues in perpetuity through the Marge Clark Education Fund.
