One of our narrative features, On Borrowed Time follows a journey of self-discovery after a man reinvents himself and reconnects with a woman who broke his heart, the only thing is that she doesn’t remember him after his weight loss. A time capsule of the early 2000s, this film is a feat twenty years in the making.

We were able to have a Q&A with Paul Perez, the writer, actor, and director to share more about his passion project.

More sad news this week for the entertainment industry. Tim Curry's presence throughout his entire career has been, in a word, sensational.

The classics that he has brought to life on the screen continue to make an impact on those young and old.

From the River Valley Film Festival team we often our deepest love and condolences to his friends, family, and those whose lives have been impacted in any way by the amazing Tim Curry.

The world lost an icon today. Whether you loved Dolly for her music, her films, or her overall bubbly personality, she's had such a major impact across many aspects of the entertainment industry, and the loves of everyone she touched.

With her consistent message of love, joy, and togetherness, we can all stand to take a lesson from Dolly and spread our wings to welcome each other, no matter who we are.

The River Valley Film Festival extends it's deepest love and well wishes to all those who are mourning the loss of Dolly Parton, especially her family and those closest to her.

One of our narrative features, Delco: The Movie is a 2000s teen comedy drawing inspiration and style from the work of Kevin Smith. A love letter to Delaware County, Pennsylvania, the film showcases a town and a fun cast of characters into what seems to be a cinematic universe!

We were able to have a Q&A with Chris Pierdomenico, the director and writer, to learn more about how near and dear this film is to his heart.

The River Valley Film Festival will host its first installment of Traveling Screenings on August 28th, 2026 @ 7:00pm at the Otto Bookstore.

Our selection celebrates the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Roswell, New Mexico’s Little League World Series Championship win!

And what better time to showcase it than during the Little League season during Williamsport Welcomes the World!

One of our documentaries, Crime & Parody centers Anthony Novak and the rights of freedom of speech as a satirical joke lands him in prison and the ensuing battle in the courts. Shining a light on how satire fits into the justice system and the impacts of qualified immunity.
