Rescue or Adopter Needed

These two sweet 8-month-old mixed-breed pups are looking for safe, loving homes.

I'm posting on behalf of their owner, who is heartbroken to have to make this decision. Due to ongoing issues with loose neighborhood dogs and concerns for the safety of both her dogs and her children, she no longer feels she can keep them safe where they are.

❤️ Great with kids
❤️ House trained and mostly leash trained
❤️ Friendly, loving, and full of puppy energy
❤️ Can be adopted together or separately
❤️ Need to be fed separately
❤️ Brewster can be shy around men at first but warms up quickly

Both dogs still need to be spayed/neutered, and any adopter should be willing to have that done upon adoption.

Their owner loves them dearly and wants nothing more than to find them safe, stable homes where they can thrive.

Unfortunately, due to lack of interest in the big dogs this boy may end up going to a shelter…

We’re giving it one more good go to try and find a home or rescue for this boy.

Unaltered male named Bo**er 🐾

Hims the bestest boy, he just likes to terrorize bunnies and chickens 😭 he’s not really been around cats, but he is a loving protector of his kiddos!

His mama is heartbroken to rehome him, but she’s trying to do what’s best for her family & farm animals ❤️

Please let us know if you are interested in adopting, or if you know of any rescues with space for him!

Wanted: A featherless, fluff-free zone for two sweet, kid-loving Labrador boys! 🐕❤️ (they can go together or separate!)

Meet Diesel and Bo**er! These unfixed Lab brothers are absolute sweethearts. They are fantastic with children, love people, and have nothing but affection to give. They are great family dogs at heart.

There is just one catch: they are convinced they are elite backyard hunters. While they are incredibly good, gentle boys with humans, they have a massive prey drive.

Unfortunately, they have zero concept of farm-animal boundaries (chickens and bunnies are, sadly, on their no-fly list).
Because they are such lovers (and we want them to be safe and happy) we are looking for a rescue that has space to take these boys in, help them find a small-animal-free home, and finally get them fixed!

If you run a rescue with open foster spots, or know of a reputable organization, please reach out!

We are willing to adopt these boys out to the right family!

A little about Christina ✨

A little about your photographer:

My journey began in the foster care system, a childhood marked by abuse, neglect and moving between five different homes. Instead of letting those 'bad cards' define me, as a teen I chose to become an advocate for foster youth across Kentucky alongside my incredible friends at Voices Of Commonwealth. We worked to change the system where we could, and in the process, I learned that you can always choose to be good, no matter what you’ve been through.

I spent years as a child wishing for a mother; today, my greatest joy is being one. My businesses exist so I can be present for my babies. Whether I’m editing photos or arranging flowers until 3 AM, I do it with a grateful heart because it means I’m home. I hope my story inspires you to keep going BECAUSE goodness eventually finds its way back to you. I’m living proof.

Is It OK To Let My Dog Roam Free?

“You may live in a rural area and see other dogs roaming.
Perhaps your dog loves to wander and explore as most dogs do.
Unfortunately, it is neither safe nor appropriate to allow your dog to roam free.

In general, dogs should not be allowed off-leash, even with supervision.

Here’s why:

Vehicles: Even remote locations have cars and trucks. Dogs can get hit, and many of these dogs will not survive.

Infectious diseases: While exploring, your dog can come across disease-carrying substances from animal f***s, dead wildlife, and even other living animals.

Parasites: Standing water such as ponds and puddles are breeding grounds for many intestinal parasites.

Injury to or from other animals: Dogs are predatory creatures by nature. They may chase and attack wildlife, & other pets or an aggressive or defensive animal (domesticated or wild) might injure or kill your own dog.

Disturbing other people: Be a good neighbor, even if the closest one is miles away. A free-roaming dog can travel for miles. It’s simply rude and irresponsible to trouble other people in your community.

Legal consequences: Many areas have leash laws, meaning you could be fined or lose your dog.

Lost or stolen: Your dog may wander too far one day and never make it back. Someone may take him to the pound or keep him.

So why take a chance? Keep your dog on a leash, with you at all times, or in a properly fenced area. Your beloved friend will be with you for many more years to come when you take simple precautions to keep her/him safe!”
