From their event page:
"We're excited to welcome you back for another full day of Scottish culture with live music, bagpipes, traditional dancing, and interactive activities for all ages. One major update, ALL activities will be on the grounds of Ayr Mount including Hillsborough's own Craigh Na Dun, fairy dancers, broadsword lessons, and (of course) of whiskey tasting table."

Notice something new? We have switched our Clan MacQueen of the Carolinas to the official public page for the MacQueen Society. It gives us a chance to reach out and for people to find us, reserving the actual private page for members and/or potential members to the Society. We are looking at putting together a collection of Family trees to be on display at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, Inc. If you have a copy of your family tree that you would like to share and add to this please email it to us at [email protected]
We are hoping to use this as a way of helping other MacQueens connect. I myself have already found cousins i didn't know until comparing our trees.
We also still have paid memberships available. These memberships help fund our work as Conveners at the Highland Games and growing our Society.
