Tonight, NEPA Pride Project Board Members Lori Prashker-Thomas and Trixy Valentine proudly represented our organization at the opening reception for PULSE Nightclub 49: Elegies at the Sordoni Art Gallery at Wilkes University

This powerful exhibit honors the 49 lives lost in the Pulse Nightclub tragedy while celebrating the resilience, strength, and spirit of the LGBTQ+ community. Through art, remembrance, and reflection, the exhibit creates an important space for education, healing, and dialogue. The exhibit runs throughout the summer June 12 - Aug. 1, 2026.

We encourage everyone to visit, experience this moving collection, and take part in the additional programs and events being offered throughout the exhibition season.

Join us! Get ready for a night of entertainment, music, and community support at “Drag for a Cause” on Thursday, June 18th at Ole Tyme Charley’s Pub & Grill in Plains!

Featuring an incredible lineup of drag performers and music by DJ Frash, this event will benefit the NEPA Pride Project & Q***r NEPA. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the show begins at 6:15 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and all proceeds help support local LGBTQ+ initiatives and advocacy efforts right here in NEPA. Come out for an evening filled with fun, energy, and a great cause. Grab your friends, enjoy the performances, and help make a difference in our community.

Justin has spent years advocating for inclusion, equality, and opportunities for others throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Rather than receiving gifts, he has chosen to use this milestone birthday to support organizations making a difference in our community, including the NEPA Pride Project.
