Activism is crucial for all our state park allies to express concern over recent discussions by the Governor's office regarding the addition of resort-style developments and golf courses to our treasured Florida state parks, including Honeymoon Island and Hillsborough River State Park within our council.

Here's what you can do:

Petition your state representative using the link below to advocate for our local state parks. This we are so unbelievably grateful to Bealls Florida. For the whole month of May, they hosted a Donation Drive in their stores! Customers were able to purchase items in their Stores' Pet Section or drop off donations.

Thanks to the generosity of Bealls and their customers, we received two large carts full of donations! Our community support is what allows us to help others. Thank you Bealls Florida!
