🩶 BOCA IS BACK & STILL LOOKING FOR HIS PERSON 🩶

Our handsome 21-year-old Congo African Grey, Boca, is once again searching for the right forever home. Unfortunately, his most recent adoption just wasn’t the right fit—but that’s okay. Finding the perfect match matters, especially for a bird as intelligent and particular as an African Grey. ❤️

Boca is a beautiful, healthy boy with plenty to say. And we mean PLENTY. 😄 This boy loves to vocalize, chat, comment on life, and generally talk up a storm. If you enjoy a home with personality (and opinions), Boca may be your guy.

Like many Greys, Boca is incredibly smart, observant, and comes with that classic “Grey attitude”—meaning he knows exactly what he likes and isn’t shy about letting you know. 😅 He does seem to prefer men, so we’d love to find someone who understands parrot body language, respects boundaries, and appreciates the wonderfully quirky nature of African Greys.

This is not a beginner bird. African Greys are emotionally complex, highly intelligent, and require lifelong commitment, patience, enrichment, and consistency. But for the right person? The bond is incredibly special. 🩶

Today was Sheldon’s very first day with his new bird mama, Gabby! 🥹✨

What better way to spend Mother’s Day than welcoming a feathered baby into the family? Sheldon is already settling in and soaking up all the love and attention. We have a feeling he’s going to be very spoiled. 😄

🦜❤️ Happy Adoption Boca! ❤️🦜

We are so excited to share that Boca the African Grey (on the right) was officially adopted by his wonderful new mom, Amy right at after New Years Day! 🥹✨

Boca has also gained an adorable new brother named Avery, and the two of them absolutely love chattering away together all day long. From whistles to conversations only Greys understand, their bond has been such a joy to watch already. 🥰

Boca is living the good life — spending most of his days out of the cage, hanging out with his mom, enjoying quality family time, and even watching sports on TV like a true fan. 📺⚾️🧢
And don’t worry — a brand-new matching cage is coming soon so Boca and Avery can have a perfectly coordinated setup when they do need some personal space. 😄

Thank you, Amy, for opening your heart and home to Boca and giving him such a loving, enriching life. We can’t wait to see more updates of Boca and Avery growing up together as brothers. 🦜🦜💕

💙💛 Meet Sheldon 💛💙

Sheldon is a nearly 14-year-old Blue & Gold Macaw, DNA sexed male, who has been with us for almost 3 years and is still patiently waiting for his person. 🦜💙

Let’s be very honest (because Sheldon deserves that): Sheldon is LOUD. He absolutely loves to scream — happy screams, excited screams, “I’m a macaw!” screams. Because of this, he has sadly been returned three times. Sheldon is not an apartment or close-neighbor bird.

👉 His ideal setup:
• Outdoor aviary during the day where he can scream his heart out 🎶
• Coming inside to hang out with his humans for social time and bonding
• Neighbors who do not mind macaw-level volume

Now the rest of Sheldon 💛

A petite Blue & Gold (smaller than most)

Has a ruptured air sac that inflates when he’s excited and deflates on its own — purely cosmetic, not painful or dangerous

Has muscle atrophy from being flightless for many years and needs a home that understands and accommodates this

Loves men, but will accept women who are patient, consistent, and willing to earn his trust

Sheldon is not “too loud.”
He’s not “too much.”
He’s just a macaw being a macaw, waiting for a home that embraces him exactly as he is.

If you have the space, the setup, and the heart for a bird who wants the best of both worlds — outdoor aviary freedom by day and indoor human time by night — Sheldon might be your guy. 💙💛
