🙏 THURSDAY NIGHT MEN'S MEETING! 🙏

Join us tonight at 6:30 PM at Turning Points Men's Discipleship Program for our weekly 12-Step Life Recovery Meeting!

We all have struggles, we all have a past, and we all have areas in our lives where we need to grow. But through Jesus Christ, we can find forgiveness, healing, and the strength to walk in a new direction.

This meeting is about more than overcoming addiction. It's about learning to surrender our lives to God, taking responsibility for our choices, encouraging one another, and growing into the men God has called us to be.

📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 — "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

You don't have to have it all figured out to walk through the door. Just come willing to take that next step.

Today, our men had the opportunity to serve alongside Janice Baptist Church at their food drive.

A big thank you to Pastor Ian and the church for inviting us out and allowing us to be a part of serving and pouring into the community.

Days like today are about so much more than simply lending a hand. They give us an opportunity to put our faith into action—to serve others, fellowship with fellow believers, pray for those in need, and truly be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Jesus said, “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister.” — Mark 10:45

We are thankful for every opportunity God gives us to get outside of ourselves and serve somebody else. It is a blessing to grow together in Christ and be reminded that following Jesus isn't just about what we say we believe—it should show in how we love and serve others.

Thank you again, Brother Ian and Janice Baptist Church, for welcoming us and allowing us to serve alongside you today. We truly enjoyed the fellowship and are grateful to be a small part of what God is doing in our community.

We want to take a moment to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to Friends of Alcoholics in Jackson, Mississippi for continuing to bless the men of Turning Points Men's Discipleship Program

For quite some time now, FOA has generously donated meat to help provide for the men in our home, and today we were blessed with another load. This time, God provided more than enough—not only to help feed our men, but enough for us to turn around and share with others in our community who are in need.

That is what makes a blessing so special. God blesses us, and then gives us the opportunity to be a blessing to somebody else.

“Freely ye have received, freely give.” — Matthew 10:8

We are truly grateful for organizations and people who are willing to give and help ministries like ours continue doing what God has called us to do. FOA, please know that your generosity reaches farther than you may ever see. You are helping feed people, helping support these men as they rebuild their lives through Christ, and giving us the opportunity to serve others along the way.

From all of us at Turning Points , thank you for your continued generosity and support. May God bless you for being a blessing to so many. 🙏❤️

Another great night working through our Chained to Changed workbook at the Turning Points Men's Discipleship Program ! One of the greatest blessings has been watching these men become more comfortable opening up, sharing their struggles, encouraging one another, and talking honestly about what God is doing in their lives. What started as a workbook is becoming something much more—a time of real fellowship, accountability, and growth in Christ.

There is something powerful about a group of men sitting together, dropping their walls, speaking truth, and helping one another move forward.

We also want to give a special thank you to Pastor Marc Calvert, who put a tremendous amount of time, prayer, and effort into creating and building Chained to Changed for our men. We’re thankful for his heart for these men and his desire to give them something that challenges them to face where they’ve been, grow in their walk with Christ, and move toward where God is calling them.

Chained to Changed is turning out to be a great addition to our men’s home, and we’re thankful for what God is doing through it.

What a blessing today has been! 🙏
A huge thank you to Brother Michael Denning and Go Ye Ministries for inviting the men of Turning Points Men's Discipleship Program out to serve and minister alongside them today at a local trailer park.

We went out hoping to be a blessing to others, but God has a way of turning that around on you. Today was encouraging, uplifting, and honestly refueling for me and the guys. There is something special about getting outside of ourselves, loving on people, serving where there is a need, and simply sharing the love and hope of Jesus.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve, for the fellowship, and for everyone who welcomed us today. Brother Michael and Go Ye Ministries, thank you for including us and allowing our men to be a part of what God is doing through your ministry.

Days like today remind us that we aren't just being changed so we can live better lives—we are being changed so God can use our lives to reach somebody else.

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOSH HUSTON! 🎉
We want to take a minute today to celebrate one of our guys, Josh Huston!

When Josh showed up for work today at the Hampton Inn, the ladies there had surprised him with a birthday party. That was such a kind thing for them to do, and it means a lot to see people showing love and encouragement to our guys. ❤️

We’re proud of Josh and the growth we’ve seen in him. He’s doing a great job at work, he’s doing well here at the men’s home, and most importantly, we’re watching him continue to move forward and become the man God is calling him to be.

Josh, keep putting one foot in front of the other. Keep working hard, keep growing, and keep your eyes on the Lord. You’ve come a long way, and we’re proud to have you as part of the Turning Points family.
And a big THANK YOU to the wonderful ladies at Hampton Inn for making his birthday special today!

The men are putting in the work today, and we are FINALLY making some much-needed repairs to the Turning Points Men’s Home! 🛠️🏠
We’re thankful for what God has provided, and we believe being good stewards means taking care of what He has placed in our hands.
