Kansas will receive $134 million from the Meta settlement, but this has to be about more than money. It has to be about preventing the next child from becoming a victim.

Education. Prevention. Stronger tools for parents. Better protections for kids online.

We cannot wait until tragedy happens to start protecting our children.

The settlement reignites the issue of social media addiction and dangerous behaviors that can lead to devastating circumstances.

At KWCH Channel 12 today with Project Heaven talking about the Meta settlement and what it could mean for protecting kids online.

We cannot wait until a child is already in crisis to start caring about online safety.

When Kansas receives major settlement funds, I believe that money should go back into protecting kids through prevention, youth mental health, digital safety education, stronger resources for parents and teachers, and real safeguards against online exploitation.

I’m proud of the work Project Heaven continues to do and grateful for the opportunity to speak on an issue that matters to families across Kansas. ❤️

Heartbreaking news out of east Wichita. A 1-month-old baby is gone, and police are now investigating. 💔

At this point, we do not know all the details, but the loss of an infant should stop every one of us in our tracks. A baby should be safe, protected, loved, and cared for.
Project Heaven will be watching for updates and praying for answers, accountability where needed, and peace for everyone impacted by this tragedy. 🕊️

The foster care system in Kansas is a train wreck, and our foster families and kids are facing the consequences.

As Governor, I’ll get DCF under control to serve our foster care families and our Kansas kids in need of a home.

🎉 Today marks 1 year of Project Heaven Child Advocacy 🎉

One year ago, we started with a mission: to speak up for children, support stronger protections, raise awareness, and push for action where it is needed most.

Over the past year, we have told difficult stories, stood with families, challenged paroles, supported child protection legislation, submitted testimony, showed up at the Statehouse, and worked to keep the safety of Kansas children at the center of the conversation. 💛

This work is heavy, but it matters.

Every child deserves safety. Every child deserves protection. Every child deserves adults willing to speak up. 🕊️

Thank you to every person who has followed, shared, encouraged, prayed, testified, supported, and stood with us along the way. Project Heaven exists because children matter, and we are just getting started.

Children do not always disclose abuse clearly. Sometimes the first warning is discomfort. Believe your child enough to ask more questions.🗣👂💙💚
