STAND KS partnered with The Table - Newton to help serve a meal last night and get to know some new friends. The Table serves dinner every Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Newton to anyone who would like a meal. What a wonderful resource in our community!

When The Newtonian (Newton High School's student magazine) printed this cover, Newton was leading Kansas by passing To***co 21 (T21) to keep youth safe (and the whole state then followed)! ✨

Big shoutout to Harvey County D-FY for championing a more supportive community for our youth. Check out their latest campaign Not Here on your phone: https://www.harveycountydfy.com/not-here

"The lack of sidewalks in my neighborhood makes it difficult to get to school."
"Why aren't there more stop signs near schools?"
"The school zones aren't easy to see. Can you do anything about that?"

These are just a few examples we have seen discussed on social media, and we'd love to see that input and feedback in the survey or on the interactive webpage. This will help collect official data that's needed to take the next steps!

Connection doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's a simple conversation, a shared meal, or a few minutes spent doing something fun together.

To help make those moments happen more often, we've created The Connection Collection, a free resource packed with conversation starters, family activities, dinner ideas, and trusted resources that can help bring families closer together.

As part of celebrating 20 years of Operation Parent, we're excited to share this collection with families everywhere. Whether you're looking for a new family tradition or just a few fresh ideas for connecting during the busy school year, you'll find plenty of inspiration inside.
