We did get in some health plan books. They are more overviews of the plan and not the big thick booklets. You can contact the office or come to Mondays meeting and grab one! You can also visit Nalchbp.org

The NALC Health Benefit Plan’s 2027 Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) premiums have been released. Mark your calendars for Open Season, and visit nalchbp.org to explore your options and learn more about the plan built by and for postal employees.

Tim Cargill is the definition of good people. The first carrier to help me when I was struggling as a new PTF and the first one to suggest I should get involved in the union. Forever grateful to have met this man and honored to call him my friend.

USPS correspondence dated September 16, 2026, is notification the Postal Service will begin piloting a new postage label. The new label will feature four Intelligent Mail Matrix Barcode (IMmbs) in place of the traditional linear barcode in the USPS Tracking # section. The goal in using the IMmb is to improve readability of packages in our network.

The pilot will be conducted using parcels mailed by a single shipper, Victory Packaging, who ships Priority Mail supplies to all Post Offices and its customers. Employees should expect to see both types of labels in the mail stream. We have attached a copy of the employee Stand-Up Talk.

National parties have signed an agreement allowing the carryover of 520 hours of annual leave as well as a memo on the annual leave buyback.

The National Association of Letter Carriers, NALC, is the national labor union of city delivery letter carriers employed by the United States Postal Service.
