Trout Fishing Clinic!!!! (TOMORROW!!!) Great opportunity for ALL scouts. December 31st at Sedgwick County Park in Wichita. Please register at [email protected]

I will set up at Vic's Lake, parked in the lot nearest the enclosed dock. Scouts and families can come out and fish for 45 minutes or so without a fishing license and without a trout permit. However, only those with a youth or adult trout permit will be allowed to harvest the fish. The exact duration will just depend on how many show up and how the fishing is. If some swallow hooks, we can use that as an opportunity to demonstrate cleaning options if we want to.
There will be a short educational activity for everyone that is fishing, which will introduce rigs and baits for trout fishing. Then, they will practice casting with back yard bass, before fishing.
I will be there at 1pm to set up and fishing will be available from 1:30 to 3:30 or so.
Please have those interested email David Breth at [email protected] to sign up. I need names and ages for all participants planning on fishing, which includes parents. This helps me know how much equipment and bait I need.
