ICT Winds WGI Winds & SIPAA Independent A Unit based in Wichita, KS

ICT Winds will compete in the Independent A classification of the Winter Guard International (WGI) Winds division. Essentially, winds units perform marching shows INDOORS in venues no bigger than a basketball court! ICT Winds is composed of ALL WIND INSTRUMENTS, with special considerations for the visual and mobility aspects of the activity. Independent A classification rules allow for the consideration of performers of ALL AGES.

ICT Winds Admin Team and some of SIPAA’s Board Members were invited to represent ICT Winds on the 2026 WGI Advisory Board Meetings in Las Vegas. We all learned a lot about the future of the WGI circuit that helps inform the way SIPAA operates. Looking forward to the upcoming indoor season AFTER marching season ends in October!
