Quail hunting is a cherished tradition, but our upland birds are facing challenges as bobwhite quail populations rapidly decline across the southern United States. This decline is due to various factors, primarily habitat loss and weather conditions. While we can’t control the weather, we can certainly improve and restore habitats to support quail and other wildlife. The journey to creating good quail habitat starts with you and your community. By educating others, spreading awareness, and promoting better land practices, we can make a significant impact. This is why every quail hunter—of which there are approximately 1 million nationwide—should consider becoming a member of Quail Forever. No organization does more to enhance habitats that support quail populations than Quail Forever. Becoming a part of the effort is rewarding - and YES, you CAN make a Difference!
