Message from Representative Sandy Pickert, Chairwoman

This Town Hall provides an opportunity for community members to share perspectives and engage in a structured, respectful public forum with their elected officials.

A few logistics for your awareness:
• Doors will open at 5:15 PM. Based on past events, we anticipate a strong turnout and an early line for participant sign-up.
• The forum will begin promptly at 6:00 PM with remarks from Chair Pickert, followed by delegation introductions.
• Community participants will be allotted two minutes each to share comments.
• To ensure fairness and flow, direct questions will not be permitted during the forum.
• Dr. Aycock will serve as the facilitator/timekeeper to help keep us on schedule.
• This event will be facilitated by the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas and hosted by the Wichita Public Library.

Most people want quarterly or bi-annual large item pickup. 70% of people do not pay for recycling. The price for service every quarter varies from $45 to $200!! No consistency at all.
