⛳️ Recently, Kansas City development directors, Sami and Jackie, enjoyed a great day of networking at the AdventHealth Championship!

As the only PGA TOUR-sanctioned event in the greater Kansas City metro area, it was a great opportunity to connect with community leaders and partners.

AdventHealth Kansas City is the presenting sponsor of Go Red for Women in Kansas City.

When we walk together, we save lives together. Every step helps fund CPR awareness, vital research and education that turns bystanders into lifesavers.

Bystander CPR is performed less than half the time it’s needed. Together we can change that. Join the Kansas City Heart Walk on September 26 and make an extraordinary impact.

Chris is alive today because his 9-year-old daughter learned CPR.

One snowy morning, Chris was outside shoveling snow in Elkhart, Indiana, when he started struggling to breathe. He collapsed on the front porch, and his wife, Jamie, quickly called 911 and began CPR, but after several exhausting minutes, she could no longer continue. That's when his daughter, Magnolia, stepped in.

Though frightened, Magnolia remembered the Hands-Only CPR skills she had practiced for years at school through the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge. She stayed calm and told her mom, “I can do it.” Guided by the dispatcher, Magnolia immediately took over chest compressions and kept blood flowing until her mom could take back over. Magnolia's courage, quick thinking and training helped save her dad's life.

Register your school for Kids Heart Challenge and give students the skills and confidence to act when every second counts. https://www.heart.org/jointhechallenge
