We are so grateful for Wellspring Animal Hospital! They are incredible partners and do so much for the people and pets in our community! We are honored to call them friends!

Wellspring is a big supporter of Wichita Animal Action League (Waal) and for their fundraiser this year, we donated a certificate to spend a day at our hospital for their silent auction. The winner was Ava, who got to watch surgery and dentistry, and observed Dr Jason and our technicians work with wellness and medical appointments. We enjoyed our time with Ava and hoped she learned a bit more about veterinary medicine,

He was found with his brother, Bullseye, by the Goddard PD. Bandit loves to play and is the epitome of friendliness. He loves being active and chewing on bones. With a cuddly nature, he's also quite the chatterbox, always ready to express his excitement. 🤗🥰

He’s loyal, loving and will happily play with another canine playmate. Bandit is currently honing his potty training skills and learning not to guard his resources too fiercely.

This sweet baby needed an immediate exit plan from the city shelter because she was NOT doing well in a kennel setting. She has obviously never been indoors before and is absolutely petrified. Our eyes just break our hearts 😩

October 21st
Starts at 10am, but come early!

ALPHA clinics are urgent care type veterinary clinics for minor illnesses/injuries. Owners must be Sedgwick County residents and have an annual household income of less than $50,000.

Only 15 patients will be seen, and this clinic is first come-first serve. There is a $30 copay per pet with a maximum of two pets per family. Please come early and expect a wait.

***Change: please note that we will NO longer be offering vaccines only as we have other opportunities for that.

Hi, guys.

My name is Momma Dog and I'm the cute one on the bottom. The other adorable puppy is my baby, Marnie. We just wanted to say thank yous to everyone who helped us be able to come to the rescue, WAAL. The sheriffs saved us when we were locked in boxes and weren't getting enough foods. My tummy was very empty, and I tried to make sure that Marnie had enough food. The sheriffs took us to the dogtor and they gave us medicines so that we felt better and dey said we need more foods. Dis morning, a very nice but a little weird rescue lady came and put us in her car. She said, "Girls, get ready for your whole new life." Then she brought us to WAAL. The ladies at WAAL had toys and treats all ready for us and dey say that we are going to foster homes later today. I don't know what that means but they got us big fluffy beds and toys to take with us.

I am an old girl, and people have loved me before, but I want the same for my puppy. She deserves to have food, and toys, and treats because she's just a baby. Tank you to everyone who helps WAAL because then they help dogs like us.

**WAAL Admin jumping in: We took in these sweet girls from the Butler County Sheriff's Office this morning. Both are very thin and need to gain weight. They are absolutely precious and so deserve a second chance at great lives. We are excited to see what their future holds and feel blessed that we get to witness their journeys!
