This May, middle school students from Gordon Parks Academy will have an opportunity to travel to New York City for a one-of-a-kind photojournalism experience. Guided by local professionals, our students will explore the art of street photography and journalism, capturing the stories, people, and moments that bring the city to life.

Even more exciting—these powerful images will have the opportunity to be showcased in the Tall Grass Film Festival next year! 🎬

A Parent Meeting for families has been set up for September 18th from 5:00-6:00 PM in the GPA Cafeteria. We hope to see you there and can’t wait to see the world through lenses of our GPA Trailblazers. 🌍❤️
