Completed! Come see the mural and join the Enz Brothers and Newton Murals in a ribbon cutting on Thursday, September 10th at 4 pm at 127 E 6th, Newton hosted by the Newton Chamber and the City of Newton. Refreshments to follow the ceremony. We want to thank all of the donors, volunteers, and cheering section that made this mural possible.

The 2025 Summer Daze murals have been installed at East Llake and Osage Nature Trail in Harvey County. In the foreground see the baby Black Cherry or Serviceberry bushes which will be available for harvesting as a foraging crop when they are more mature.

The Enz Auto Shop mural on 6th Street, Newton, across from the Carriage Factory is almost finished.
Please watch for announcements from Newton Murals and the Enz Bros of any upcoming celebrations or gatherings so we can thank all who helped as volunteers, all who donated, and all who encouraged Kacie Ray Schmidt and our group in the creation of this mural.

Progress as of July 6th, 2026: The Enz Auto Glass Mural, 127 E 6th St Newton KS

So far, lead artist Kacie Schmidt and volunteers have put in over 160 hours, not including over 10 hrs of just washing brushes and spray guns, with an estimated 60 hours to go.

We are on the home stretch and still need to raise funds to bring this project to a close.
