Good morning everyone!
It has been way to long since I have posted or updated, my apologies. That has been due to crazy busy time harvesting, future planning efforts and (to be transparent) personal health limitations.
However, it is important to note we have still been working, growing, harvesting, donating and preparing ground for planting. This year alone, we have had over 200 volunteers engaged on our farms so far.
So here is what we are currently working on....
The Board of Directors and I are working through a transition to new leadership (by our bylaws, my time expired as Board President) which has been the plan from the beginning!
I am not going anywhere, but I can recognize the limits of what I can provide, which puts limits on the capacity of ICT Farms.
What I am working on with the amazing Board and some new folks you will be introduced to in the coming days, is creating an even clearer direction, a plan to solidify resources, and a plan to create the organizational structure and physical infrastructure that will bring new resources to the community in a really big way!
Please stay tuned as nothing we do is possible without the support of our community and we hope you will take part in a movement that will change lives, neighborhoods and communities for generations to come.
Be ready to GROW as we get back to the foundations of what ICT Farms was always meant to be....community connection, education, and support!
In other words, we are going to be a multiplier!
