“But I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
Micah 7:7

Life often boils down to a choice.

We can choose to trust, or we can choose to doubt.

We can choose to allow fearful thoughts to have control of our mind until they destroy our peace, or we can cast out our fears by choosing to think instead on the promises of God.

We can choose joy, or we can sink in the despair of disappointments.

Life at times will be disappointing and feel less than we planned for ourselves. We were never promised a life without suffering. We live in a broken world.

But God has given us hope.

“But I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.”
Micah 7:7

I will look to God not my failing efforts. Not to the people who let me down. Not to life’s many disappointments. Not to my own hopes and dreams.

But I will look to the Lord. I will wait for Him to restore, redeem, and answer.

He will not fail me. He will not forsake me. He will not disappoint.

If it is not good then it means He is not done yet.

When I can’t see God’s hands moving, I will choose to trust in His heart.

Looking back on a year full of twists and turns—adventures and valleys—I am so thankful for how God has blessed us with the beautiful women of Grace House and those we were honored to love along the way. I thank Him for revealing Himself to each of us daily. May 2026 be a year of gratitude, dry bones coming alive, and the bond of peace.

Merry Christmas and Joy to the World! ♥️

In this season we want to thank our prayer warriors, volunteers, sponsors, and donors. As Christmas approaches keep these precious women in your prayers as they long to be with their loved ones. While they know their current sacrifice will reap much harvest, it doesn’t fill the void only God, prayer and the love of family can! 🙏🏼 Cover and smother them in prayer, and if you feel led, I have included our basic need link if anyone would like to give in this capacity. We hope and pray you all end 2025 as strong as Grace House of Wichita Falls has.
