This month Troop TX0013 will be closing down. It's an end of an era. Here are the closing remarks from last night's Court of Awards:
As we gather to bid farewell, we do so with hearts woven tightly together by a decade of shared adventures. Like threads intertwining to create a beautiful tapestry, our time together has been a masterpiece of friendship, growth, and joy.
In the intricate design of our journey, we've laughed, cried, and conquered challenges as one united troop. Each knot tied and stitch made has contributed to the rich fabric of our memories, forming a tapestry that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
As Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, 'To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.' And now, as we gently unravel this chapter, we do so with gratitude for the beauty woven into every moment and hope for the new patterns yet to emerge.
To the parents who entrusted their precious daughters to this adventure, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your unwavering support and encouragement have been the foundation upon which our troop has flourished and your girls have truly been a blessing.
To the dedicated leaders and board members who have given so generously of their time and talents, we say thank you. Your guidance, wisdom, and commitment had molded the young women who have passed through this program and it has not gone unnoticed.
Though our paths may diverge, the threads of our shared experiences will forever bind us together. May the tapestry of our adventures continue to inspire and comfort us in the seasons to come.
