SPARK Series Episode 4
Maurice “Chef Blāque” Shelton – Owner, Steel City Bakery
Success doesn’t always start with a straight path.
Chef Blāque’s journey began with rejection. After applying for a cake decorator role with no experience, he didn’t get the job. Instead, he started in the deli and worked his way up.
Today, he is a nationally recognized pastry chef, a winner on Netflix’s Sugar Rush, and the owner of Steel City Bakery in Gary, Indiana.
In this conversation, we explore how mindset, persistence, and personal vision can shape an entrepreneurial journey.
