The season ended sooner than we wanted it to! However, it was worth the ride. Thank you to all the seniors on the team. Good luck to all of you in your future endeavors. Here are some of the pictures from the game against S. Lehigh.

Don't forget about the baseball banquet on June 23rd! We will get to honor our seniors one more time.

Outstanding pitching and hitting leads Whitehall to a round 1 win beating Bangor! Next game is Saturday at Desales vs Southern Lehigh. Time to be determined.

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs Defeat Bangor Slaters Varsity

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs defeated Bangor Slaters Varsity 7-2 on Tuesday at Whitehall High School.

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Tanner Sweeney doubled, scoring one run, Tyler Sanders singled, scoring one run, Donato Brigidi singled, scoring two runs, and Sudge Hoderewski tripled, scoring one run.

Nik Christman earned the win for Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs. The hurler gave up four hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking two. Gino Merlo took the loss for Bangor Slaters Varsity. The right-handed pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs (two earned) on six hits, striking out four and walking three. Jack Lloyd appeared in relief for Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs.

Sweeney led Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The left fielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Sweeney, Sanders, Brigidi, Christman, Jules Alatzas, and Hoderewski each collected one hit for Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs. Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs turned one double play in the game.

Jaxson Kreider set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Bangor Slaters Varsity with two hits in four at bats. Cooper Karasek went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.

Nik Christman Of Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs Shuts Out Parkland

Nik Christman threw a shutout to lead Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs past Parkland 1-0 on Monday at DeSales University.

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs didn't take the lead until later in the game. The game was tied at zero in the bottom of the sixth when Kolby Miller drew a walk, scoring one run.

Streeter took the loss for Parkland. The starting pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, surrendering one run (zero earned) on three hits, striking out three and walking four.

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs's Jack Lloyd, the number eight hitter, led Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs with two hits in three at bats. Miller led Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs with one run batted in. Sudge Hoderewski stole two bases. Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs stole four bases in the game. Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs turned one double play in the game. Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs didn't commit a single error in the field. Chase Miller had the most chances in the field with seven.

Magota, Dickson, Weninger, Damweber, and Weikel each collected one hit for Parkland.

You can put a W in the books for Varsity! What a game against Northampton! We are moving on! Second round match up against Parkland at 4 pm, next Monday, at DeSales University.

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs Defeat Northampton Behind Strong Performance From Jack Lloyd

Jack Lloyd struck out 10 batters as the starter led Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs past Northampton 8-2 on Thursday. Lloyd allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings while walking none.

Tyler Sanders collected four hits in four at bats in the win. Sanders hit a home run to right field in the fourth inning, doubled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Donato Brigidi doubled to center field, and Chase Miller walked, each scoring one run.

A single by Sanders extended the Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the second inning.

A walk by Callen Nicklas extended the Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs lead to 4-0 in the bottom of the third inning.

Sanders homered to right field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fourth for the Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs.

Simock took the loss for Northampton. The pitcher went four innings, allowing six runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out six and walking five.

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs tallied 11 hits in the game. Logan Shean and Sudge Hoderewski each collected multiple hits for Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs. Hoderewski stole three bases. Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs stole five bases in the game.

Williams and Burrell each collected two hits for Northampton. Simock and Burrell each drove in one run for Northampton. Northampton turned one double play in the game. Northampton were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Rutzmoser made the most plays with eight.
