Week 3 winners, coming right up! ☕️🐟

We took the prize wheel to the Buffalo Cafe, where the idea for Whitefish Community Foundation first took shape 26 years ago. Our founders gathered over breakfast to talk about how they could make a difference in our community.

It felt pretty fitting to return for our Week 3 drawings, especially when all three $1,000 Incentive Grants went to organizations helping our community enjoy the trails and recreation opportunities that make the Flathead Valley so special!

When you work with millennials, every “2” is a peace sign. Today, we have a pretty great reason to throw them up: $2 MILLION has been raised in the Great Fish Community Challenge! ✌️🎉

What a morning celebrating Great Fish On Air with KGEZ! 🎙️🐟

We started the morning with a big reason to celebrate: Mike and Jamie Goguen made a generous $50,000 gift to the Great Fish Match Fund, helping boost the dollars raised by all 89 nonprofits participating in this year’s Great Fish Community Challenge. Thank you, Mike and Jamie!

From there, the microphones stayed busy as nonprofits and Great Fish sponsors joined us throughout the morning to talk about the work happening across the Flathead Valley and why they choose to be part of the Challenge.

We also drew this week’s three $1,000 Incentive Grant winners. Congratulations to:

The Great Fish Community Challenge is popping up around the Flathead Valley! 🐟💚

We had a great time at our first Pop-Up Donation Station at Whitefish Credit Union in Columbia Falls yesterday. Thank you to all of our participating nonprofits and everyone who stopped by to make a gift, ask questions, or just say hello! Too many fun photos -- we could only choose a few!

There’s still plenty of time to get involved. Join us this Thursday at our Pop-Up Donation Station at Harvest Foods in Bigfork, and support the local nonprofits you love now through Sept. 11 at the link in our bio.

🎉 $1 MILLION! 🎉

We are just one week into the 2026 Great Fish Community Challenge and our community has already given more than $1 million to support local nonprofits!

We celebrated this HUGE milestone today at our first Pop-Up Donation Station with some of the incredible nonprofits that make the Challenge so special.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us get here. We’re just getting started!
