Indigenous Youth Rising
Indigenous Youth Rising (IYR) was envisioned by Dr. Brad Kroupa to serve as a resource in addressing several hardships faced by Indigenous people, particularly youth, living on reservations, inner cities and rural communities. Established in 2015, IYR is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation that aims to strengthen Indigenous communities through programs encouraging and supporting cultural self-determination, educational access and advancement, health and wellness, and youth leadership.
IYR has an unwavering commitment to creating real impact. Through community-driven methods, IYR ensures programs and services meet the challenges that Indigenous people face as underserved communities. Our organization aspires for the betterment of all and achievement of greater educational, social and civic engagement.
