IMPORTANT UPDATE:
We will be asking our governor for a facility to begin operations immediately, to begin rebuilding and fixing people's hybrid electric vehicles at no cost. We will use these vehicles to deliver food, medicine, and other supplies to those in need. We will also provide jobs and training.
We started Eva with the goal of proving our refurbished hybrid electric vehicle leasing model here in Michigan and then expanding into the rest of the states and hopefully around the world, or at least helping other people and organizations copy are efforts. Our second main program was designed to repurpose used components from hybrid electric vehicles, specifically using them in renewable energy applications. We hoped to send hybrid electric vehicles that we had refurbished and modified to other countries that had been affected by natural disasters. These modified hybrids are designed to be basically a generator on wheels. So they can be used for transportation and then also for backup power generation. One of these is about 4 to 7 times as efficient as your standard single cylinder generator. This is for several reasons that we can explain at another time.
Now we are in an unprecedented moment in history, we are shifting all of our focus and relief efforts right here in our home state of Michigan, we will share all of our information and try to help others recreate what we are doing around the country and perhaps around the world. In addition to these activities, if we are allowed usage of a facility, we will manage it as a machine shop Co-op and we will organize and manage DIY, entrepreneurs, tinkerers, coders to work on open source Solutions. We can build medical equipment, with open source technology like Arduino and 3D printers in addition to standard Machining techniques , and by crowdsourcing the work, we are convinced that we can build almost anything, including ventilators. We can say that confidently because we build custom hybrid electric vehicles, by using components from several different vehicles, sometimes from appliances, we can take the basic components and build something new from them.
It is not money that restricts production and Manufacturing, it is scarcity of land, Labor, knowledge, materials and energy. We have an ABUNDANCE of all of those throughout this country, but especially here in Michigan, and especially in the Metro Detroit area! We will update with more information. Thank you!
