Hello Platte County Hunters and Wildlife Enthusiasts!

We have created a local Muley Fanatics Foundation chapter here in Platte County. This past August, we held a golf tournament fundraiser for the chapter. This was a great success. With the money we raised during that golf tournament we helped sponsor a migration study that will help determine the impact that wind turbines have on the migration of mule deer. We are excited to be able to help financially support this study.

We will be holding a banquet on March 1, 2025 in Wheatland at the Agri Plex to help raise money and awareness for mule deer populations in our area.

Some of the other projects we are wanting to participate in are:
- [ ] Provide opportunities for youth to be active in outdoor activities.
- [ ] Supporting youth in completing hunter education.
- [ ] Preservation of mule deer habitat.

We are looking for new members that would like to be part of the Platte County chapter and assist with our goals. Participants will also help with generating ideas of future goals. We are going to be holding a chapter meeting on December 18 at 6:30 PM at the Rolling Hills bank. If you think you would be interested in being part of our chapter and helping out, please come to this meeting.
