The best thing about Village Church? It’s the people. ❤️

Sunday after Sunday, I have the privilege of watching God move among our church family. Sometimes it’s in BIG, unmistakable ways. Other times, it’s in the quiet, seemingly ordinary moments that most people may never notice. A conversation. A prayer. A kind word. A life being changed one small step at a time.

And every time, it’s humbling to be part of what God is doing in and through this church.

If you don’t have a church home, or if you feel the Holy Spirit stirring something in your heart and calling you to find your place, we’d love to welcome you to Village Church. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to come.

Village Church - Light the Night: Trunk or Treat IS GETTING CLOSER! 🎃

There’s something special about events like Trunk or Treat. Over the last few weeks, we’ve talked about how some families who now call Village Church home first connected with us through events just like this one.

Think about that for a second. Families we’ve had the opportunity to minister to…who now minister to others alongside us.

All because a simple invitation, a little candy, and a whole lot of love created an opportunity for connection.

But making that happen takes YOU!

🙏 First, we need your prayers. Pray for every family who walks through our event. Pray that somewhere between the costumes, candy, games, and conversations, a seed of faith will be planted or watered. What feels like an ordinary night of fun could be the beginning of something extraordinary.

🍬 Second…we need LOTS OF CANDY! We're looking at needing at least 8,000 pieces! And based on how you all came through last year, I suspect some of you STILL have candy left over from 2025. 😂 If that's you, we've got a solution!

Bring your candy donations to Village Church! There's a collection bucket in the lobby every day between now and the event. Every bag helps!

🎪 Third, we need trunks and volunteers! Host a station, hand out candy, help with games, greet families, or simply be a friendly face. Need ideas for a theme or game? Talk to Nikki, Patrick, or any of our staff. We'd love to help!

Because this is about more than candy. More than costumes. More than one night on the calendar.

It's about loving our village well and creating opportunities for people to encounter the love of Jesus in unexpected ways.

We need A LOT of candy for this year's Village Church - Light the night: Trunk or Treat . If we give 2–3 pieces of candy per child, per trunk, we need at least 8,000 pieces of candy!

You can be a part of one of biggest outreach events of the year by donating candy.

There’s a bucket in the lobby every day from now until the event.
