This weekendâs post is landing a little earlier than usual because Northwoods Baseball is hitting the road and heading beyond Wisconsin.
Today, our 10U, 11U, 12U Wirkus, and 13U Spets teams begin play in Battle Creek, Michigan at the TBR National Championshipâone of the biggest and most competitive events on our summer schedule.
Championship weekends arenât easy.
They require players willing to battle through long days, coaches managing pitching staffs across five guaranteed games, and families making significant sacrifices to make the experience possible. Extra days off work. Hotel stays. Miles on the road. Early mornings and late nights. Itâs a commitment that extends far beyond the baseball field.
But these are the moments our athletes work for.
The opportunity to compete at a high level, challenge themselves against elite competition, and create memories with teammates that will last long after the final out.
A very special thank you goes to Lauren Exteriors, our Grand Slam Sponsor.
Their support goes beyond a single weekend or even a single season. Lauren Exteriors has made a meaningful commitment to the future of Northwoods Baseball, helping create opportunities for our athletes today while investing in the continued growth of our program for years to come. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity, partnership, and belief in what weâre building.
As our teams take the field in Michigan, weâre proud of the dedication, sacrifice, and hard work that brought them to this stage.
Good luck to our players, coaches, and families this weekend. Compete with confidence, support one another, and represent the Northwoods Way every time you step on the field.
The road is longer. The competition is tougher. The opportunity is bigger.
Letâs go to work.
