While most of the Northwoods squads enjoy a lighter weekend, our 10U team is ready to take center stage as they head to Wisconsin Dells for the Buffalo Cup at Woodside Sports Complex.

This weekend, they’ll be carrying the Northwoods banner and representing our entire program.

From the first pitch to the final out, we’re excited to watch this group continue to grow, compete, and build on the work they’ve put in all season long. Every tournament is an opportunity to gain experience, make memories, and take another step forward as a team.

A special weekend ahead for Northwoods Baseball.

This weekend, our 8U team officially takes the field for their very first tournament as they head to Seymour for the Dust the Rust Tournament.

For many of these boys, this will be their first taste of tournament baseball — the walk-up songs, the dugout chatter, the nerves before first pitch, and the excitement of putting on the Northwoods jersey and competing together.

The wins and losses will fade, but the memories made this weekend are the ones that stick forever.

We’re proud of this group already for the work they’ve put in, and the excitement they bring to the game every single day.

The wait is over. Northwoods Summer is HERE.

Five teams. One destination. Let’s go.

This weekend, our 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U Wirkus, and 13U Spets squads hit the road to Des Moines, Iowa for the Midwest Showdown—ready to compete, represent, and set the tone for the season ahead.

This is where the off season work shows up. Long nights. Extra reps. Cold winters. It all leads to moments like this.

Multi-Sport Monday | Final Edition

As we wrap up our Multi-Sport Monday series, we’re celebrating the athletes whose winter passions don’t quite fit a traditional mold — but absolutely deserve recognition. From ice fishing to bowling (and everything in between), these kids remind us that athleticism, discipline, and drive show up in countless forms.

Some spend their weekends out on the ice, braving the cold with patience and focus most adults can’t match. Others are at the lanes dialing in precision, consistency, and mental sharpness. No matter the sport, the commitment is real — and the benefits carry straight into the baseball season ahead.

What we’ve seen over the past month is simple:
Our Northwoods Baseball Select athletes don’t take an off-season.
They stay active. They stay competitive. They stay connected.
And all those experiences — on the ice, in the gym, on the slopes, in the pool, or anywhere else their interests take them — help shape the teammates and competitors they become in the spring.

Now, with winter sports wrapping up and daylight sticking around a little longer, it’s almost time to trade snow boots for cleats and ice rinks for ballfields. The energy is building, and we couldn’t be more excited to get this group back together.
