Grief impacts every member of the family in unique ways, and navigating loss together can be both challenging and overwhelming. Our monthly Family Grief Support Group offers a compassionate space where children and caregivers can find connection, understanding, and support alongside others who are grieving.

On Wednesday, July 8th, children ages 6–12 will participate in age-appropriate activities and guided conversations that encourage emotional expression, build coping skills, and foster a sense of belonging. At the same time, caregivers will meet separately to share experiences, gain support, and explore ways to care for themselves while helping their children through grief.

Together, these groups provide families with a supportive community and the reassurance that they do not have to face grief alone.

Registration is required for each session you wish to attend. We look forward to welcoming your family. Register here: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/-4o5vnYxl9XCPTrK8n-bxQ

Today may be the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month, but that doesn’t mean caring for your mental health stops here.

Rest, asking for help, setting boundaries, and checking in with yourself are important every day of the year. Your mental health deserves attention not just in May, but always.

Take care of your mind with the same compassion and consistency you give to the people around you. You are worthy of support, care, and hope.

Grief shows up differently for everyone. Some reactions may feel unexpected, overwhelming, or difficult to explain, while others may come and go without warning. You may experience a wide range of emotions, changes in routines, or moments where everyday tasks feel harder than usual.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no timeline for how loss should affect someone. Every person’s experience is unique, and each response deserves patience and compassion. No matter where you are in your journey, give yourself permission to take things one day at a time.
