This month's WAA dinner meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 1700 hours (5PM). Attendees choose and pay for their meals/beverages from the wonderful menu options at the Shelter Harbor Inn on Rte. 1 in Westerly. Our guest speaker will be Kurt Levcowich, with pictures and stories from his amazing trip to Africa, including lots of travel in small airplanes to remote airstrips.

HUGE thanks and kudos to another WAA Scholarship recipient Thomas Allen... Check THIS out, just received from Tom...

"I just saw your post about not knowing where scholarship recipients end up. I've ended up in Hawaii flying F-22s! With your help, I was able to get an instrument rating prior to USAF pilot training and it gave me a huge leg up to be able to perform and be competitive for this assignment. I cannot say thank you enough!"

Envying aircraft owners, who can enjoy thousands of feet of social distancing while indulging their passion for flight. Is the price of Avgas lower now, with the cost of oil in the cellar???
