Last week I got to play with the new NOMAD watch while completing a Troutman run. The watch has special modes to document fishing efforts including the use of transcriptive “catch” voice pins (accurately recorded species and length, no problem). This flyover video was super easy to generate, as the app recognized the time and location of photos taken during my run. Still brand new to this tool, but it’ll definitely be my running / fishing / beering watch moving forward!

NEW ÜLTROÜT FINISHERS!!!

For those of you who aren't in the new, Ültroüt is the second of four levels of our progressive trail running / fly fishing / craft beer Troutman challenge series.

In Ültroüt, you earn the second buckle in the series by running at least 50 miles, gaining at least 5000 cumulative vertical feet, catching 5 different fish species, and drinking a 15% ABV beer (or equally awesome and prior-approved NA alternative) in under 18 hours.

Congrats to and for their epic journey!!!
