We have 5 people registered for the Walk so far and really hope that more are coming! :) Yes, this is a fundraiser, but we all know it's so much more than that. We have some fantastic things planned, including serving delicious appetizers and desserts! And almost everyone wears their event shirts when they donate $20, and we want to make sure you get your shirt in your size, so if you can, register by this Friday the 4th, so we can get your shirt ordered.
We will have a limited number of shirts available at the event starting at 5:00...but we may not have one in your size, so be safe and register by Friday. :)

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. It's a good day to make sure you have Narcan on hand and with you wherever you go. Locally, you can get free Narcan at County Seat Laundry - Viroqua, Waters Edge Motel Marina and Campground in Stoddard (go to the bait shop/office), Vernon County Sheriff's Office (inside the lobby door by dispatch), La Crosse County Health Department and Vivent Health in La Crosse. SAVE A LIFE.

We've added two more beautiful souls to our In Memoriam page...Alyssa and Michael. Their families also agreed to add them to our yard sign awareness campaign. We really appreciate that. We know how much they're all missed, and we also know that using their passings to raise awareness is making a huge difference in this battle.

This is who she was. This photo captures her...all of her...perfectly! She was beautiful, inside and out. She was smart. She was so, so funny, always with a hint of comical sarcasm. She was loving and kind. She was compassionate. She loved her family and pets. She loved her friends and needed lots of them around her. Here it was her birthday, and when I handed her the cake, she did her "Ooooooh," and we both cracked up. This picture makes me so happy! I just thought you'd all like a reminder about why we started and whose spirit is keeping us going. :)
